Surprisingly, Bill and I haven't had a blog before. It seems we are behind-the-times and everyone has been asking us to post one. So, here goes...
We are anxiously awaiting our first baby's birth here in Hong Kong. He is due on October 8th, and though my body has given us some trouble, he seems to want to hang in there. We've named him Samuel William, after my maternal grandfather and his father.
There are a lot of details concerning how we got here to Hong Kong, but for now I'll just say: The Lord is in control.
After Samuel is born, we'll go back to our home in Kunming, Yunnan (China). For now, we're just waiting here in HK. I was given the 'okay' to walk around outside for an hour a day, and I'm looking forward to exploring HK, since I've been cooped up in my bedroom for the five weeks since we arrived. Tomorrow we'll go to the hospital to tour the OB ward and tomorrow night we get to go out with some friends to Ruby Tuesdays. It'll be an exciting day!
