This story really touches me, because we are starting to see our own "insured" doctor's bills come in from Sam's most recent hospitalization. I am extremely concerned about our health care costs, as well as how insurance has inflated our general costs across the board.

Even with the flood in the basement, because we have home owner's insurance, the total bill to dry out the basement and remove the flooring cost over $2000. If we hadn't submitted the claim with our insurance it would have been much less.

I am deeply concerned for our nation and our health care. This story is just one of, I'm sure, many.
